I believe in one God, the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible;
And in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the Son of God,
the Only-begotten, begotten of the Father before all ages;
Light of Light, true God of true God;
begotten, not made; of one essence with the Father;
by Whom all things were made;
Who, for us and for our salvation, came down from Heaven,
and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, and became man;
And He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered and was buried;
And the third day He rose again according to the Scriptures;
And ascended into Heaven, and sits at the right hand of the Father;
And He shall come again, with glory, to judge the living and the dead;
Whose Kingdom shall have no end;
And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of life; Who proceeds from the Father;
Who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified;
Who spoke by the Prophets;
In One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church.
I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins.
I look for the resurrection of the dead,
And the life of the world to come. Amen.
Our Father, Who art in heaven
hallowed be Thy Name;
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Lord, Jesus Christ have mercy on me a sinner.
O Lord, Heavenly King, O Comforter, the Spirit of Truth, Who are present everywhere and fillest all things; Treasury of Blessings and Giver of Life; come and abide in us and cleanse us from every impurity, and save our souls, O Gracious One.
O Lord Jesus Christ, our God, in Thy mercies and loving kindness Thou regard the humble prayers of all who call upon Thee with their whole heart; incline Thy ear and hear now my prayer, offered to Thee in humility:
Be Mindful, O Lord, of Thy Holy, Universal and Apostolic Church; confirm and strengthen her, increase her and keep her in peace, and preserve her unconquerable forever.
Be mindful, O Lord, of our bishop, (bishop's name), and of every bishop of the Orthodox Church; the priests and deacons, and all the clergy of the Church, which Thou hast established to feed the flock of Thy word; and by their prayers have mercy upon me and save me, a sinner.
Be mindful, O Lord, of all civil authorities, of our armed forces, of this city in which we reside, and of every city and the countryside; grant them peaceful times, that we, in their tranquility, may lead a calm and peaceful life in all godliness and sanctity.
Be mindful, O Lord, of my parents, (first names), of my brothers and sisters, (first names), of relatives, (first names), and of friends, (first names); grant that they may have mercy, life, peace, health, salvation and visitation, pardon and remission of their sins; that they may ever praise and glorify Thy Holy Name.
Be mindful, O Lord, of those who travel by land, by sea, and by air; of the old and young, the sick, the suffering, the sorrowing, the afflicted, the captives, the needy and the poor; and upon them all send forth Thy mercies, for Thou art the Giver of all good things.
Be mindful, O Lord, of me, Thy humble servant; grant me Thy grace, that I may be diligent and faithful, avoiding evil company and influence, resisting temptation; that I may lead a godly and righteous life, blameless and peaceful, ever serving Thee; that I may be accounted worthy of entering the Kingdom of Heaven. Amen.
"O God of spirits and of all flesh, Who has trampled down Death and overthrown the Devil, and given life unto Your world, give, we beseech You, eternal rest to the soul of Your departed servant, in a place of brightness, in a place of verdure, in a place of repose, from whence all pain, sorrow, and sighing, have fled away.
Pardon, we beseech You, every transgression which may have been committed, whether by word or deed or thought. For there is no man who lives and does not commit a sin. You only are without sin, Your righteousness is everlasting, and Your word is the Truth.
For You are the Resurrection, and the Life, and the repose of Your departed servant, O Christ our God, and unto You we ascribe glory, together with eternal the Father, and Your Most Holy, and Good, and Life-giving Spirit, now and forever, and for ages to come." Amen.
"May our gracious and merciful Lord, who rose from the dead, Christ, our True God, through the intercessions of His Holy Mother and of all the Saints, establish the soul of His departed servant in the mansions of the righteous; give rest in the bosom of Abraham, and number his soul among the just, and have mercy upon us and save us".
